Episode 1: "Race Wars"

FADE IN:

INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

Four friends - MARK, JASON, LUCY, and KIM - are sitting on a couch watching TV. A news report about a recent race riot comes on.

MARK: (exasperated) Why do people have to make everything about race?

JASON: (nodding in agreement) Yeah, it's ridiculous.

LUCY: (sarcastic tone) Especially when they don't even know which race they're supposed to be offended on behalf of.

KIM: (laughing) Looks like we need a "Race Wars" quiz show to sort it all out.

The friends all laugh as the show cuts to commercial.

Episode 2: "The Racial Profiler"

FADE IN:

INT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY

The four friends are sitting at a table, sipping their coffee.

JASON: (muttering under his breath) Look at that guy over there. Probably hates me because I'm Asian.

KIM: (rolling her eyes) Jason, you're being ridiculous.

MARK: (agreeing) Yeah, we all have our biases, but we have to try to be better than that.

LUCY: (sarcastic) Actually, I think we should just embrace our stereotypes.

All the friends laugh as they take another sip of their coffee.

Episode 3: "The Colorblind Date"

FADE IN:

INT. RESTAURANT - EVENING

Kim is sitting across from her date, a white guy named CHRIS.

KIM: (perplexed) I don't get it. You said race doesn't matter to you, but then you keep bringing it up.

CHRIS: (defensive) I'm just trying to show that I'm not oblivious to the fact that we come from different backgrounds.

KIM: (smiling) Well, I appreciate that. But at the end of the day, we're just two people on a date. Let's focus on that.

They cheers their glasses as the waiter brings their food.

Episode 4: "Black and Yellow"

FADE IN:

INT. CAR - DAY

Mark and Jason are rocking out to some music when the song "Black and Yellow" comes on.

JASON: (suddenly serious) You know what's messed up about this song?

MARK: (curious) What?

JASON: (pointing to himself) I'm Asian, and you're black, but we're both singing along to a song that's all about being a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

MARK: (laughing) Yeah, I guess that is pretty messed up.

They high-five as they continue to sing along.

Episode 5: "The Race Card"

FADE IN:

INT. OFFICE - DAY

Lucy is having a conversation with her coworker, who's a black guy named MARCUS.

LUCY: (sarcastic) Oh, great, you're pulling the race card again.

MARCUS: (offended) What? I'm just saying that the company could do more to promote diversity.

LUCY: (apologetic) I'm sorry, I didn't mean to dismiss your concerns. I just get frustrated when people use race as a crutch.

MARCUS: (nodding) I understand. But sometimes it's hard not to see the world through that lens.

They both smile and get back to work.

Episode 6: "The Race Riot"

FADE IN:

INT. STREET - DAY

The friends are walking down the street when they witness a group of people engaging in a race riot.

MARK: (panicking) What do we do?

KIM: (inspired) I know what we do. We join the riot, but instead of fighting against each other, we fight for equality.

JASON: (grinning) I like the way you think.

The friends all join the riot, holding signs that say "Racism sucks" and "We're all in this together." Eventually, the riot ends peacefully.

Episode 7: "The Racist"

FADE IN:

INT. PARTY - NIGHT

Jason is at a party, talking to a guy who's been making some racist comments.

JASON: (grinning) You know what they say about people who are racist, right?

GUY: (curiously) What?

JASON: (seriously) They have small... minds.

The guy looks offended as Jason walks away, laughing.

Episode 8: "The Racial Harmony"

FADE IN:

INT. CHURCH - DAY

The friends are at a church service, holding hands and singing together.

KIM: (smiling) This is what it's all about, guys. Coming together and celebrating our differences.

LUCY: (nodding) And remembering that we all have a common purpose.

The friends all nod and close their eyes in prayer.

Episode 9: "The Race for Charity"

FADE IN:

INT. MARATHON - DAY

The friends are running in a charity marathon, wearing shirts that say "Race for Charity."

MARK: (panting) I don't know if I can keep going.

JASON: (encouraging) Yes you can, man. We're almost there.

KIM: (smiling) And think about all the good we're doing.

LUCY: (exuberant) Let's cross that finish line together!

The friends all increase their pace and cross the finish line as a team, cheering as they do.

Episode 10: "The Race Wars Trivia"

FADE IN:

INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

The friends are gathered on the couch once again, this time watching the "Race Wars Trivia" game show.

NARRATOR: (voiceover) And your final question: Which race is the most superior?

All four friends groan and roll their eyes.

KIM: (exasperated) Seriously? Is that the best they could come up with?

MARK: (grinning) I know this one. The only race that's truly superior is the human race.

The friends all laugh as the show cuts to commercial.

FADE OUT.
