Title: Code Breakers

Episode 1: “The New Guy”

INT. OFFICE - DAY

Four characters, JANE, MIKE, TREVOR, and NICK, all sit at their desks, typing away on their computers.

JANE: We have a new programmer starting today. Have any of you met him yet?

NICK: Nope, but I heard he’s fresh out of college.

TREVOR: Oh boy, great. Another one to teach the ropes.

MIKE: Hey, speak for yourself, Trevor. I’m excited to meet the new guy. Maybe he’ll have some fresh ideas.

Jane rolls her eyes and gets back to work.

Cut to the new guy, JIMMY, walking into the office with his backpack slung over his shoulder.

JIMMY: Hi, everyone. I’m Jimmy. I’m the new programmer.

Everyone greets Jimmy, and he goes to sit at his desk.

JANE: (to Jimmy) Welcome aboard. Do you need any help getting set up?

JIMMY: No, thanks. I’m good to go.

Episode 2: “The Office Prank”

INT. OFFICE - DAY

Jimmy is hard at work on his computer, trying to figure out a complex coding problem.

Trevor sneaks up behind Jimmy and puts a piece of tape over the mouse sensor.

TREVOR: Have fun solving that problem now!

Trevor walks away, snickering to himself.

Cut to Jimmy trying to move his cursor around on his computer, but it’s not responding. He tries turning the mouse on and off, but still no luck.

JIMMY: (frustrated) What is going on with this thing?

Nick can’t take it anymore and bursts out laughing.

NICK: Trevor got you good!

Jimmy looks up, confused.

Episode 3: “Team Building”

INT. CONFERENCE ROOM - DAY

The team is gathered around the conference table, munching on bagels and coffee. Jane has called the meeting to discuss team-building activities.

JANE: Alright, guys. So, I was thinking maybe we could do a team-building exercise to help us all get to know each other better.

TREVOR: (sarcastic) Oh, great. Another trust fall.

JANE: (ignoring Trevor) I was thinking maybe we could all put together a puzzle or something.

MIKE: That sounds like a good idea. I like puzzles.

NICK: Me too. As long as it’s not too hard.

Jimmy looks nervous.

JIMMY: (softly) I’m not very good at puzzles.

JANE: That’s okay, Jimmy. We’re not expecting you to be an expert. It’s all about working together as a team.

Episode 4: “The Hackathon”

INT. OFFICE - DAY

Jane is pacing back and forth, looking stressed out.

JANE: Okay, team. As you know, we have a big hackathon coming up next month. We need to come up with a killer idea to present.

MIKE: I’ve been thinking about it, and what if we made an app that helps people stay on task during the day?

NICK: I like that. Maybe we could integrate some sort of rewards system for completing tasks.

TREVOR: Or maybe we could make a game out of it. That would be cool.

Jimmy chimes in.

JIMMY: I was thinking maybe we could make an app that helps people find the best coffee in the city.

Jane looks skeptical.

JANE: (sarcastic) Because that’s exactly what we need at a hackathon – a coffee app.

Everyone laughs, and Jimmy looks embarrassed.

Episode 5: “The Bug Hunt”

INT. OFFICE - DAY

The team is gathered around Jane’s desk, looking at her computer screen.

JANE: Alright, team. We’ve got a problem on our hands. There’s a bug in the system, and we need to find it before it causes any serious issues.

MIKE: I’ve been checking lines of code, but I can’t find anything.

NICK: Same here. This is a tricky one.

TREVOR: (jokingly) You know what they say – it’s always in the last place you look.

Everyone rolls their eyes.

JIMMY: (quietly) Wait a minute.

Everyone turns to look at Jimmy.

JIMMY: I think I found the problem. Here, take a look.

Jane and Mike lean in over Jimmy’s shoulder, studying the code.

JANE: Jimmy, you’re a genius.

NICK: How did you even find that?

JIMMY: (smiling) Beginner’s luck, I guess.

Episode 6: “The All-nighter”

INT. OFFICE - NIGHT

The team is gathered around the table, surrounded by empty coffee cups and takeout containers.

JANE: Alright, let’s get this thing done. We’ve been working too long on this project.

TREVOR: We’ve got to push this code out tonight. The launch date is coming up fast.

MIKE: I’m on it. I’ll stay up all night if I have to.

NICK: I’ll make another pot of coffee.

Jimmy looks like he’s about to pass out.

JIMMY: Guys, I don’t think I can do this. I’m too tired.

Jane puts a hand on Jimmy’s shoulder.

JANE: Jimmy, it’s okay. We’ll take it from here. Get some rest.

Episode 7: “The Presentation”

INT. CONFERENCE ROOM - DAY

The team is gathered in front of a group of investors, presenting their new app.

TREVOR: And so, we’re proud to present to you – the CoffeeQuest app!

Mike shows off the app on the big screen, demonstrating how it works.

MIKE: See, you punch in your location, and it shows you the best coffee shop in the area.

NICK: And if you visit different coffee shops, you earn points and rewards.

Jane steps in.

JANE: And this is all thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team.

The investors nod, looking impressed.

INVESTOR: Very good. Very good indeed.

Episode 8: “The Party”

INT. OFFICE - NIGHT

The team is gathered around the conference table, celebrating a successful launch.

Everyone raises their glasses.

TREVOR: To the best team in town!

NICK: Hear, hear!

Jimmy suddenly jumps up.

JIMMY: Wait a minute! Let me see if this thing really works.

Jimmy pulls up the CoffeeQuest app on his phone, punching in his location. The app shows him a map of the area, with a big red dot showing the location of the best coffee shop in town.

Jimmy looks excited.

JIMMY: Guys, it’s working! Let’s go celebrate with some coffee!

Everyone laughs and grabs their jackets.

Episode 9: “The Hangover”

INT. OFFICE - DAY

The team is gathered around the conference table, looking worse for wear.

NICK: Ugh, I have the worst headache.

TREVOR: I think I need a gallon of coffee just to get through this day.

MIKE: (looking at Jimmy) How are you feeling, new guy?

Jimmy looks up, looking completely fine.

JIMMY: What are you talking about? I feel great.

Everyone looks at Jimmy, surprised.

JANE: Jimmy, did you even drink that much last night?

Jimmy grins.

JIMMY: No, I just switched all the drinks around when no one was looking.

The team bursts out laughing.

Episode 10: “The End”

INT. OFFICE - DAY

The team is gathered around, packing up their things for the day.

JANE: Alright, everyone. It’s been a great project. Good work, all around.

TREVOR: Yeah, but let’s not get too sappy. I still have to work with you all tomorrow.

MIKE: Hey, I’m not complaining. I’m looking forward to it.

NICK: Me too.

Jimmy looks happy, but still a little nervous.

JIMMY: Hey guys, I just wanted to say – thanks for making me feel like part of the team.

JANE: Of course, Jimmy. You’re a valuable member of this team.

The team exits the office, one by one, each one with a smile on their face.
