Episode 1: The Super Bowl Party

Characters: Peter and John

Peter: Hey John, how about we host a super bowl party at your place this year?

John: Sure, sounds great. But I hope you won't mind if I don't follow football that much.

Peter: What do you mean? Super bowl is the biggest event in the football world. You have to watch it.

John: Well, I am willing to give it a try. But I don't think it's my cup of tea.

Peter: Don't worry, I will be there to explain everything to you. You will be a football expert in no time, my friend.

Episode 2: The Super Bowl Game Day

Characters: Peter and John

Peter: Are you excited, John? The big day is finally here.

John: Honestly, I am a bit nervous. I don't want to make a fool of myself in front of everyone.

Peter: Relax, I have got your back. Just follow my lead.

John: (yelling at the TV screen) Whoa, what a touchdown! This is so thrilling!

Peter: John, that was not even close to a touchdown. That was just a regular pass.

John: Oh, my bad. I am still learning the ropes.

Episode 3: The Half-Time Show

Characters: Peter and John

Peter: Here comes the half-time show. This is where all the big stars come out to perform.

John: (excitedly) I love this part. Who's performing today?

Peter: I think it's Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.

John: (confused) Who are they?

Peter: You don't know who J-Lo and Shakira are? Have you been living under a rock?

John: Well, I am not much into pop culture.

Peter: (laughing) This isn't pop culture, John. It's the Super Bowl half-time show. Get ready to be blown away.

Episode 4: The Commercials

Characters: Peter and John

Peter: Look at the TV, John. Here comes my favorite part of the Super Bowl – the commercials.

John: (puzzled) The commercials? That's your favorite part? Why?

Peter: Because they are so hilarious. They spend millions of dollars just to make us laugh.

John: (sarcastically) Wow, that's money well spent.

Peter: (laughing) You will see what I mean. Watch this.

(Commercial comes on)

Peter: (cracks up) Did you see that? The dog driving the car. Classic.

John: (unimpressed) Yeah, very funny.

Episode 5: The Super Bowl Bet

Characters: Peter and John

Peter: John, how about we make a bet on the Super Bowl?

John: (interested) What do you have in mind?

Peter: Let's say, if your team wins, I will do your laundry for a month. And if my team wins, you have to wear my jersey to work for a week.

John: (hesitating) I don't know, Peter. That sounds like a pretty embarrassing bet.

Peter: Come on, John. It's all in good fun. Don't be a chicken.

John: (finally agreeing) Okay, you're on.

Episode 6: The Super Bowl Winner

Characters: Peter and John

Peter: (elated) Yes! My team won. I can't wait to see you wear my jersey to work.

John: (grumpily) Don't remind me.

Peter: What's wrong, John? Don't be a sore loser.

John: (mocking) Oh, I am not a sore loser. I am just super excited to do your laundry for a month.

Peter: (realizing his mistake) Wait, what?

Episode 7: The Laundry Debacle

Characters: Peter and John

John: (angrily) What is this, Peter? You call this laundry?

Peter: (apologetically) I am sorry, John. I didn't realize you were so particular about your laundry.

John: (sarcastically) Oh yeah, I love getting back my clothes three sizes smaller.

Peter: (trying to make amends) Look, John. I will make it up to you. How about I take you out for a steak dinner tonight?

John: (smiling) That sounds like a good deal.

Episode 8: The Steak Dinner

Characters: Peter and John

Peter: (politely) So, John. How was the steak?

John: (disgusted) Let's just say, I have had better.

Peter: (surprised) What? This is the best steakhouse in town.

John: (upset) Well, I am sorry. But I prefer my steak cooked all the way through, not rare.

Peter: (laughing) You are such a weirdo, John.

John: (smiling) I know, that's why you love me.

Episode 9: The Football Game

Characters: Peter and John

Peter: Hey John, I have an extra ticket for the football game this weekend. Wanna come with me?

John: (hesitantly) I don't know, Peter. I am not that big into football.

Peter: (insistently) Come on, John. It's a live game. It's so much better than watching it on TV.

John: (finally agreeing) Okay, I will give it a try. But if I get bored, I am leaving.

Peter: (excitedly) Deal!

Episode 10: The Frantic Football Fan

Characters: Peter and John

John: (surprised) Whoa, look at that crowd. Are all these people here for the game?

Peter: (jokingly) No John, they are here to take a walk in the park. Of course, they are here for the game.

John: (overwhelmed by the noise) I don't know, Peter. It's too loud for me.

Peter: (annoyed) Don't be such a wimp, John. This is what football is all about.

(Excitedly) Yes! Go team go!

John: (frantically) What's happening? What did they do?

Peter: (laughing) Calm down, John. Just take a deep breath and watch the game.

John: (exasperated) I can't take this. I am leaving.

Peter: (confused) What? But the game is not over yet.

John: (irritated) I don't care. I am leaving. Football is just not my thing.

Peter: (smiling) Well, at least we tried. (pauses) So, how about we try watching a movie instead? You are an expert in that department, right?

John: (smiling) You got that right, my friend.
