Episode 1: The Tryouts

INT. SCHOOL FIELD - DAY

Four high school students NICK, JASON, LILA, and MEGAN, are standing in a row, dressed in their sports attire on the football field, ready for the tryouts.

NICK looks confident, JASON looks nervous, LILA is stretching and MEGAN is checking her phone.

COACH WILSON, walks onto the field holding a clipboard.

COACH WILSON

Good afternoon everyone, today we’ll be running the standard fitness drill, the shuttle run.

NICK

(smiling)

Easy Peasy.

COACH WILSON

Alright, everyone, stand at the starting line.

The four students line up.

COACH WILSON

Get ready… Set… Go!

The four students run as fast as they can.

NICK reaches the finishing line first, panting.

NICK

(proudly)

That was too easy!

JASON crosses the line second.

JASON

(looking relieved)

What was my time, Coach?

COACH WILSON

(smiling)

We're timing you?

LILA crosses the line third, huffing and puffing.

LILA

(panting)

I need a drink!

MEGAN crosses the line last.

MEGAN

(on phone)

Sorry, I was finishing an urgent text. What did I miss?

All four of them anxiously await Coach Wilson’s decision about who made the team.

COACH WILSON

(writing down on the clipboard)

Congratulations! All four of you made the team!

ALL FOUR

(screaming with joy)

YESSS!

Episode 2: The First Match

INT. FOOTBALL FIELD - DAY

The stadium is filled with people sitting on either side of the field. The team is ready to start their first match.

NICK is wearing the captain’s armband and leading the team out of the tunnel.

COACH WILSON

Alright team, let's go out there and show them what we're made of!

The whistle blows, and the match begins. The game is intense, the ball is bouncing back and forth, and the score is currently tied.

JASON has possession of the ball, he tries to pass to NICK, but the ball is intercepted.

The other team quickly passes the ball down the field, and a player from the opposing team takes a shot at the goal.

MEGAN is guarding the goal post and jumps to stop the shot but slips and falls, and the ball goes in.

LILA

(disappointed)

Come on, Megan!

The four students regroup.

NICK

(enthusiastically)

Let's go, guys! We can still win this!

The game continues, and the score is still down by one. NICK takes the ball and runs towards the opponent’s goal post. The crowd cheers as he takes a shot, but it misses the goal.

MEGAN

(disappointed)

Ugh!

The game ends, and our team loses.

COACH WILSON

(proudly)

You guys played well, and that's all that matters. We'll get them next time!

Episode 3: The Return Match

INT. SCHOOL FIELD - DAY

The four students are practicing for their next match, trying to improve on their mistakes.

COACH WILSON

(shouting)

Come on, guys! Focus!

LILA accidentally kicks the ball way too hard, and it goes flying across the field and hits someone. The four students rush over to check.

NICK

(embarrassed)

So sorry about that!

JIM, a famous football player, brushes himself off.

JIM

(laughs)

LILA

(recovering)

Really? That’s amazing!

JASON

(excitedly)

Nick grins smugly, thinking he's confident enough.

JIM (CONT'D)

(looking at Nick)

You're the captain, right? I’m sure you know what it takes to lead your team to victory.

Nick nods his head confidently.

MEGAN

(perplexed)

What about me?

JIM

(smiling)

You, Megan, have the most critical position! You keep the team from losing.

Megan looks horrified.

MEGAN

(muttering)

Thanks for the pressure.

JIM

(ripping a paper and handing to Megan)

The team is ready for their next match, waiting for the whistle to blow.

The match starts, and the new strategy works. They are playing aggressively, and it's impossible to keep up with them.

NICK takes the ball and runs towards the opponent’s goal post. As he is about to shoot, he sees a better chance for LILA to score and passes the ball to her.

LILA takes the shot and scores a point!

LILA

(happily)

YESS!

The crowd cheers at their impressive move.

The game continues, and the score is tied. MEGAN is guarding the post, and the opposing team takes a shot. Megan dives to save the goal, and the crowd goes wild.

The match ends, and our team wins!

OLD LADY

(friendly)

OLD MAN

(smiling)

We sell organic produce, from our farm.

NICK

(sarcastically)

Perfect timing!

The team rolls their eyes as the old couple starts to sell their vegetables.

MEGAN

(curious)

Those tomatoes look so fresh!

OLD LADY

(grinning)

Why don’t you take some with you, dearie?

MEGAN

(thankful)

Thank you so much!

The team laughs as they help Megan with her tomatoes.

Episode 7: The Football Banquet

The students are enjoying the football team’s banquet, celebrating their championship victory.

NICK stands up to give a speech.

NICK

(standing up)

I would like to thank all of you for being here today. It's an honor to stand here as the captain of this incredible team. We worked hard, and we fought hard, and we finally earned that championship trophy.

The team cheers.

JASON

The lights dim, and the documentary begins.

This is the story of a group of high school students who worked hard, fought hard, and ultimately emerged as winners. This is the story of the football team.

The documentary features their wins, losses, struggles, and Coach Wilson’s guidance through it all.

The audience cheers as the documentary ends.

NICK

The studio proceeds to show the four students tripping on the field and falling into a comical heap.
