Episode 1: Movie Night

INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

JACK, a movie lover, is setting up the TV and surround sound system.

JACK: Alright guys, what movie should we watch?

MIKE: How about something with explosions?

LIZ: No way! Let's watch a romance.

JIM: I don't care what we watch, as long as it has a happy ending.

JACK: (smiling) How about we watch a movie about a bank robbery, with a romantic subplot and a happy ending?

The others nod in agreement.

Episode 2: Cinema Etiquette

INT. MOVIE THEATER - DAY

JACK, MIKE, LIZ and JIM are seated in the theater, waiting for the movie to start.

MIKE: (whispers) Hey Jack, can you pass the popcorn?

JACK: (whispers) Shh! We're in a movie theater. Don't talk.

LIZ: (whispers) Can someone hand me a napkin?

JIM: (whispers) Keep it down, Liz. You're ruining the experience for others.

Episode 3: Movie Critiques

INT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY

JACK, MIKE, LIZ and JIM are discussing the movie they just watched.

MIKE: That bank robbery scene was amazing!

LIZ: I loved the romantic subplot.

JIM: It was a bit predictable, but I still enjoyed it.

JACK: (smiling) And the happy ending? Classic.

Suddenly, a stranger joins their conversation.

STRANGER: Excuse me, but I overheard your discussion. I couldn't help but disagree with your opinions.

The four friends exchange a nervous look.

Episode 4: Spoilers

INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

JACK, MIKE, LIZ and JIM are discussing a new movie they want to watch.

MIKE: The trailer looks awesome!

LIZ: I heard it has a huge twist ending.

JIM: No spoilers! I don't want to know anything.

JACK: (smiling) What if the twist is that Jim is actually the villain?

Everyone laughs.

Episode 5: Movie Trivia

INT. BAR - NIGHT

JACK, MIKE, LIZ and JIM are playing movie trivia.

JIM: Who played the Joker in "The Dark Knight"?

LIZ: Heath Ledger, obviously.

MIKE: Who directed "Pulp Fiction"?

JACK: Quentin Tarantino, duh.

Suddenly, a stranger at the bar interrupts their game.

STRANGER: (smiling) You know a lot about movies. I have a proposition for you.

The four friends exchange a curious look.

Episode 6: Film School Dropout

INT. CLASSROOM - DAY

JACK, MIKE, LIZ and JIM are attending a film class.

TEACHER: Your assignment is to write a movie script.

JIM: (whispers) I don't know anything about screenwriting.

LIZ: (whispers) Just make it up as you go along.

JACK: (smiling) Yeah, who needs film school anyway?

The others nod in agreement.

Episode 7: Pitch Meeting

INT. CONFERENCE ROOM - DAY

JACK, MIKE, LIZ and JIM are pitching their movie script to a studio executive.

EXECUTIVE: So, what's your movie about?

JIM: Well, it's a romantic comedy about a bank robbery with a twist ending.

LIZ: And there's a subplot about a character who's secretly a villain.

MIKE: Plus, explosions!

The executive looks skeptical.

JACK: (smiling) But, it has a happy ending.

The executive nods in agreement.

Episode 8: Movie Premiere

INT. THEATER - NIGHT

JACK, MIKE, LIZ and JIM are walking the red carpet at the premiere of their movie.

REPORTER: Can you tell us about your inspiration for this film?

JIM: Our love of cinema and desire to entertain.

LIZ: Plus, we wanted to make a movie with all the things we love.

Reporter: Like what?

MIKE: Explosions!

Everyone laughs.

Episode 9: Movie Reviews

INT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY

JACK, MIKE, LIZ and JIM are reading reviews of their movie.

JACK: (smiling) It's a critical success!

MIKE: (laughing) We're famous!

Suddenly, the stranger from the coffee shop walks in.

STRANGER: (smiling) Congratulations on your success. I'm glad you took my advice.

The four friends exchange a puzzled look.

Episode 10: Final Scene

INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

JACK, MIKE, LIZ and JIM are watching their movie on TV.

JIM: This is crazy. We made a movie!

LIZ: It's still hard to believe.

MIKE: And we're already planning our next one.

JACK: (smiling) Who needs Hollywood? We're the next big thing!

Suddenly, the TV screen goes black.

JACK: What's going on?

A message appears on the screen.

MESSAGE: We regret to inform you that due to a technical error, the entire final scene of this movie has been lost. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Everyone laughs.

LIZ: (smiling) I guess we should have backed up our files.

JIM: (smiling) I guess true filmmaking isn't as easy as we thought.

MIKE: (smiling) I guess we should stick to being movie lovers.

JACK: (smiling) And there's nothing wrong with that.
